About HDC

Long before we were creative entrepreneurs, we had other careers & life experiences. Just in case it might give us a competitive advantage, we wanted to share a bit of our history. We are really familiar with the following industries:  

• Farm Business. One of us grew up on a cattle ranch & we have loved ones who still farm (cattle, crops and bees).
• Modular Construction, Homebuilding & Renovations. We’ve had our own drywalling business; we have friends and family in the home renovation business; and Jennifer spent a lot of her career in the modular housing world.  
• Business Travel. We’ve both done a tonne of it. 
• Senior's Housing. Jennifer spent the best part of the last decade supporting older adults navigate their options; and doing business development for one of the largest operators of senior living in Canada; she still participates in this realm. 
• Small Service Providers. We have first hand experience being and supporting small businesses. 
• Non-Profit Organizations. Jennifer is the Co-Founder of  the Women in Business Association Strathcona County; has served on multiple Boards; and supported many non-profits with their organizational needs.
