Wine Not Wednesday is about growing our businesses, connecting with other humans, learning, and having fun along the way. We share stories and foster genuine relationships that fuel both personal and professional growth.
The wine is optional, the vibe casual & connections authentic.

Join us as our friend and wine expert, Therese Sheen, leads us through a brief wine tasting & education. Once we have our wine (or other favourite beverage) in hand, we're going to jump into a conversation with our guest, Erin Clemmer.
Erin has navigated it all - a partner's infidelity; a sick child; breast cancer; re-inventing her career - and she did it all at the same time. Her story is truly one of resilience and she is now using all of her energy to champion for an end to Cystic Fibrosis.
Following our conversation, we will conclude with some open mingling amongst friends and new connections.

Join us for this fun and unique, colour-inspired event! It will be hosted in the beautiful home of Interior Designer, Shelly Reimer in Edmonton.
Guests can opt in to purchase tickets at regular price ($25 + GST) OR...bring a dish and/or beverage in a randomly selected colour palette (assigned by us). There's a Dress Code for this one - you'll need to come wearing your palette - whatever that means to you. We're looking forward to seeing everyone's inspirations.
Guests will also have an opportunity to submit their biggest design colour challenge in advance and Shelly will pick one or two to show us how she would solve it.
Tickets for this one are limited only available by checking in with Jennifer - please email: jennhillmer@gmail.com to reserve your spot.
Wine Not Wednesday began as a simple virtual event to help a few of us to stay connected during the winter months. We have certainly enjoyed some thought provoking conversations and shared some insightful learning along the way.

In 2025, we made the decision to expand to include our in-person events. Ticket sales are capped, intentionally, so if you are seeking a smaller, more intimate opportunity to build connections, this is it.
The virtual events are now paused again until Fall 2026; and we have just two in-person events remaining until we pause for summer.

Each event may be a little different, but we will typically include a brief 15 - 20 minute conversation or presentation with an invited "subject matter expert" who have agreed to share their insights and speak about something that is within their zone of genius.
*If you are interested in speaking, please scroll to the bottom of this page and send us your pitch! We'd love to hear from you!
In person events - may include some wine tasting, but we always offer other beverages - including non-alcoholic options. The networking is casual and informal - but always welcoming. We will make sure new guests get introduced to some folks.
Virtual events - typically start with everyone introducing themselves (but you don't have to if that gives you anxiety!); then we lean into a micro-learning session; and wrap up with some guided questions.
Interested in getting involved as a venue host or sponsor? We'd love to explore mutually rewarding opportunities with you - either single event or seasonal sponsorships - or something else altogether!

We're happy to explore in-kind options, rather than cash.

While we love our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), they are not compensated (except with our gratitude, of course!). We will tag you in all of the marketing and embrace every opportunity to share your genius with the world - and you will build some incredible new connections.
*Please note that we cannot accept every application, but we'll sure try.
